A 1.5-Hour Event
Date: Wednesday, 30th April
Time: 4:00–5:30pm or 6:00–7:30pm
Location: Ecoasis Uki
55 Tatyewan Street
Smiths Creek (Uki),
New South Wales 2484
4:00pm Event – For women or family members who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy or birth.
6:00pm Event – For those who have supported women or families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy or birth.
NOTE: This event is being held in the tradition of many cultures and religions that acknowledge the souls of the babies that are lost during pregnancy or birth. Our event is NOT for the purpose of emotional or spiritual healing or for those experiencing trauma related to their experience. We suggest reaching out to Naomi directly via our enquiry form for resources or advice about healing from Loss requiring physical, spiritual, emotional or psychological support.
Honouring Mothers of Loss – Name Day Event
This gathering includes the following acknowledgement practices:
Lighting a candle or incense and placing it on the altar
Speaking or writing the baby’s name and/or message
Sharing a South American care practice and cacao with light nourishment – facilitated by Naomi and Tania, offering Women’s Medicine and Wisdom
This event is intended as a gentle and respectful space for acknowledging both mothers and their babies, where the experience of loss is not taboo, but honoured as a common and deeply human part of pregnancy.
One in four pregnancies end in loss yet there are few places where this is openly recognised. This community gathering was created to offer that space.
After many years of walking alongside women through pregnancy and loss, I felt called to create an opportunity to honour this part of women’s lives and experiences; whilst acknowledging the souls of the babies.
Please bring: a warm blanket, floor mat and/or cushion.
We recommend keeping your evening before and after the event gentle and nourishing, allowing space for quiet observance and personal integration.
